Who We Are
Natalie Nordlund,
PsyD, NCSP
Founder | Consultant | Author
Dr. Natalie Nordlund is a licensed psychologist, nationally certified school psychologist, and children’s book author with a background working primarily with youth and the systems that support them across a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, and nonprofit organizations. In addition to working directly with youth, she has experience providing consulting services, conducting research, and developing and leading programs, presentations, and workshops focused on youth mental health and social-emotional development. When working with children, she often incorporates children’s media as a developmentally supportive tool to guide learning and help introduce and navigate conversations about social-emotional concepts and skills—including sensitive or complex topics, such as grief, loss, and big emotions, that can sometimes be difficult for children to talk about directly. She is passionate about supporting children’s social-emotional development and well-being, as well as normalizing conversations around mental health and wellness early in life in an engaging, kid-friendly way, including through children’s media and companion resources.
